YOU ARE THE BEST!! My boyfriend's much older, but nice and in good condition, Satellite Toshiba laptop was not allowing him access due to a BIOS password issue. So, I brought the laptop to Best Buy Geek Squad, but they were unable to fix it and I was very disappointed. Not deterred, I searched the internet for someone else that would be more capable, wiser, and brilliant. I looked at several websites trying to figure out which one appeared the best. That is when I located Lake County Geeks in Lake Villa. The owner, Mark, answered the phone right away and had a great personality and sense of humor, which I loved. He was so positive that he could fix the problem. Since, he was close, I was able to drop off the laptop right away. He gave me several updates throughout the day. Within only a few hours he told that he was able to fix it. I was speechless, but ecstatic and was dumbfounded why Best Buy could not fix it. Apparently, they are really NOT geeks. Mark had it fixed by the next day and I picked it up right away. He saved me quite a bit of money fixing this "older" computer so I did not need to go and buy another one from BEST BUY (LOL). I loved the service and would definitely recommend the Lake County Geeks to anyone who needs quick, reliable, and friendly service. I was 100%+++ satisfied. Mark did an excellent job on repairing multiple malware issues and then upgraded to the OS...Had some later issues that he was able to correct remotely. Highly recommend, price right. Well done.

Mark is an awesome guy. My hardrives fried out of no where and I'm in the middle of finals week while and he really went the extra mile for me to help fix my laptop. He's super informed and explains the whole process to you and gets the work done super fast and at a great price. I would highly recommend him to anyone with computer needs!

Mark is excellent. I’m so glad I found Lake County Geeks!! He transformed my MacBook into a whole new machine. Never going to Geek Squad ever again they are a rip off. Any computer issues I’m always heading over to Lake County Geeks! Even when I was having issues after they repaired it, Mark made sure everything was in working order. Great business!

Can't say enough about these folks. Went the extra mile to help me out in a time of great need. The local big box store damaged my computer, couldn't fix it and I urgently needed a computer. Long story short, Mark saved the day! Very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, kind and honest.

Super impressed!! Listen dont bother with the big box support squad....complete waste of time sending our HP Envy out for almost a month only to get it back, plug everything in and have to reset the computer again only for the same problem of no sound. My wife found Mark and his company on a google search , read the reviews and decided to give him a shot at it. We dropped off computer to him at 2pm today and it was ready for pick up in 2 hours!! If you are looking for honest quick service and want to support local business call Mark!

Mark is wonderful! My son’s laptop was not working and I brought it to Mark to take a look at it. He exhausted every option before letting us know the motherboard had been fried. Recommend him very highly! He was a pleasure to work with!

My husband recently died and I had all our pictures, medical Papers, ETC. in my external hard drive …….. and one night it quit working and would not boot up. I was pretty frantic thinking I lost all my precious memories and important stuff. I am pretty financially strapped right now and I found Mark at Lake County Geeks and told him of my situation. Although I would have paid whatever I could to get back my memories..... I just was so limited with money that I was super worried about what was going to happen but Mark quickly calmed my fears and although he had to get paid..... he was EXTREMLY reasonable. He is my hero because he was able to retrieve ALL my pictures and stuff. Plus he was very nice to me understanding my anxiety. I am very pleased with him and his work. Even if he couldn't get all my stuff back his attitude was so great I would have accepted that but he was a whiz and retrieved it all back. What a relief to find someone who doesn't use YOUR tragedy to profit. He is a great guy and I will go back to him when in need and I have recommended him to anyone that needs help. Kelly S

I brought two computers in to Mark at Lake County Geeks. One had a software issue (corrupted OS) and the other a hardware issue (shattered screen). Mark was successfully able to repair both fairly quickly, while keeping me updated on every step of the repairs. Pricing was more than fair in comparison to something like Best Buy or the like. I fully intend on returning for any and all IT repairs, as well as recommending it to all of my friends in the Lake County area.

My son's gaming laptop had a few fans die so we went looking for someone to repair it. Mark was very communicative the entire time, from quote through the repair process. I can't speak highly enough about the quality of the work done, the fair pricing, the clear communication during the repair, and overall friendliness and approachability of the team! Would absolutely recommend 100% - you won't be disappointed! I'm sure we'll be using Lake County Geeks again in the future.

Mark was great to work with and communicated frequently with me via text. In the end, they did a great job getting my laptop running again by coming up with a creative way to fix it. The job was done in under two days. I'll use them again if I have trouble. Great to have a local IT person than dealing with some big company that doesn't care and only wants to sell me more stuff.

Great job. Mark had an estimate to me within 24 hrs. Our laptop was ready for pickup the following day. Mark has earned our company's business. If you want the best call Lake County Geeks. I've called other service companies and there isn't any that come close to their service.

Mark is amazing! On a Saturday afternoon he took in my computer and had it fixed within 24 hours. He kept me informed the entire time, he was extremely honest, and his rate was reasonable. Most importantly he saved my computer and it’s contents! Our computers are so important these days, so when something goes wrong it’s invaluable to have a repair guy who’s knowledgeable, timely, friendly and honest! Highly recommended.

GREAT customer service! These guys were excellent to work with. They got me in within an hour of calling them early on a Saturday morning after my laptop crashed. They gave me regular updates and walked me through several options. The pricing was very reasonable. It was a hassle free and easy experience. I highly recommend giving them a shot if you have laptop/PC problems. I would use them again for sure.

After calling multiple computer repair businesses (including Best Buy), I decided to go with Lake County Geeks and so glad I did!! I spoke with the owner Mark. The first thing that stood out was his very personable nature and willingness to help quickly and he calmed me down fast as I had just experienced the "blue screen of death". I was literally freaking out! It became apparent that he really knows what he is talking about and the fact that he did not charge for diagnostics was great and even surprising! Not only did he help me at a wonderful price, but was also able to recover all of my data. I could not be happier with my experience and was done in under 2 days! The level of customer service is second to none I have ever experienced before and the way he explained everything in terms that I could understand was fantastic. Mark has Worked on my computer a number of times and has treated my computer like his own. I'm impressed with his knowledge Of computers because his expertise out ways anything you would For example that I would not get at Best Buy. Mark's service is wonderful because when he gives you a date on the completion of work it is done with in the time agreed upon. Mark's prices are much better than the big box stores. If you have any computer issues or network issues at home or in your business, I highly recommend Mark and his staff to help you get your computer up and going in a timely manner. He really cares about the customer and what they want and comes up with a workable solution for them that they will be happy with.
